Overview

Croatia is the perfect destination for a getaway, offering a blend of stunning natural beauty, rich history, and vibrant culture in an intimate, sophisticated setting. From the glamorous shores of the Adriatic Sea to the charming streets of ancient cities, Croatia promises a seamless escape for couples and friends seeking relaxation, adventure, and indulgence. Explore the cobbled lanes of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, unwind on secluded beaches, or savor world-class cuisine and wines in the picturesque regions of Istria and Dalmatia. Whether you’re cruising the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic or soaking in the luxurious ambiance of private villas, Croatia offers an unforgettable experience, where every moment is tailored for adults looking to unwind and explore at their own pace.

Located on the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa, Greece caters for every free spirit. Ancient sun-bleached ruins pierce blue skies as the Aegean laps at the endless coastline. And Greek culture is alive with passionate music, inspired cuisine and thrill-seeking activities.

Greece is a premier-league travel destination. Its incredible historic sites span four millennia, encompassing both the legendary and the obscure. Its convoluted coastline is punctuated by superb beaches, while its mountainous interior urges you to explore. Yet perhaps its greatest riches are the islands, ranging from backwaters where the boat calls twice a week to resorts as cosmopolitan as any in the Mediterranean.

Athens Neighborhood Walking: A self-exploring adventure!

Wandering through Athens on foot is like slipping into a living storybook—one where every block has a voice and every stone remembers. You start in the timeless calm of Plaka, where bougainvillea spills over neoclassical facades and the shadow of the Acropolis watches over you like a quiet sentinel. Just below, Koukaki hums with everyday life—local cafés, clinking glasses, and warm chatter in the breeze. A turn leads you to the electric pulse of Monastiraki and Psirri, where antique stalls and street art collide with the scent of grilled souvlaki and the echo of old rembetika songs. The Historic Centre pulls you in next, a stage set for centuries of revolutions, philosophers, and poets. Drift toward Thissio and Petralona, and the rhythm slows—rooftop views, leafy backstreets, and the soft glow of Athenian afternoons. But then Gazi and Keramikos shake you awake, pulsing with nightlife and creative grit among ancient ruins. Finally, you climb into Kolonaki, where elegance and history sip espresso together on marble sidewalks. This isn’t just a walk—it’s Athens unfolding, one heartbeat at a time. Overnight in hotel. (B)

GreeceYour guide will make his first stop at the archaeological exhibits which were found in the excavations of the New Acropolis Museum area. Then you will continue walking on the pedestrian streets of Makrigianni and Dionysus Areopagitou str. nearby Plaka.

You will enter the Acropolis from the south slope to skip the lines and avoid the crowds. Your ascent here begins while you are taking in the spectacular views of the city below.

You will visit the Theatre of Dionysus, Asclepius Sanctuary and adore the Concert Hall of Herodes Atticus. Reaching Acropolis top point, your guide will give you a detailed explanation of the glorious monuments such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, the Nike Temple, the Beule Gate, the Observatory, the Philopappos and the Mars and Pnyx Hills.

The first part of the tour finishes in the viewpoint of Acropolis and you will have free time to explore the hill on your own.

The tour around Acropolis will last approximately two hours. Our guide is an awarded archaeologist with 25 years of leading guided tours.

Next, we walk downhill and visit Athens oldest neighbourhood, Plaka.

Plaka, is the oldest district in Athens (it is also mentioned as “Gods’ district”) with outstanding scenery. The moment you start walking on its paved narrow lanes you get the feeling that you travel back in time.

Connect the dots between “yesterday” and “today” by letting your tour leader unveil unknown parts of history and significant details on historical buildings, beautiful old chapels and numerous monuments. Create memories that will stay with you forever and… always have your camera ready, as you’re in the most picturesque area of Athens! Find hidden gems of unspoiled beauty and magnificent views and learn secrets unknown even to many Athenians.

Our guide will give you instructions on how to go back to your hotel. Overnight in hotel (B).

Fly from Athens to Naxos

Duration Approx: 45m

Pick up from Naxos Airport and transfer to your Hotel

Free Evening in Naxos.

Greece

Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades islands and, definitely, one of the most beautiful Greek islands! It may be a short ferry ride away from the super famous Paros and Mykonos islands, but Naxos is relatively unknown, staying under the mainstream radar.

Despite being relatively underrated, compared to the neighboring Cyclades islands, Naxos is one of the most interesting destinations in Greece! Its glorious ancient past and strong influences of the Venetians and the Franks are responsible for the abundance of ancient sites. Naxos breathes history!

Apart from its impressive monuments, though, Naxos boasts a beautiful natural landscape, as it is the greenest island of the Cyclades. Imposing mountains, green valleys, beautiful beaches, and rural villages will exalt nature lovers’ spirits!

Naxos is a paradise on earth! Overnight in hotel (B).

We invite you to join us for an exciting island tour of the villages of Naxos, which stimulates all five senses. Draw the curtain down on the guidebooks and discover the tapestry of local customs and traditions which brings the spirit of Naxos to life. Together, with your local escort, you will explore the island’s local culture, from village to village, meet people and taste traditional products!

Visit the oldest Citron distillery of the Naxos, dating back to 1896, in Halki. There, take the chance to taste the local Citron drink.

Continue your tour to Kaloxylos Village. Here we will visit a historical building that houses the island’s first electric company and its first ever electric oil-press. We will have a sample tasting of extra virgin olive oil followed by exploring the nostalgic alleys of the village.

Our next stop will be the year-round lively village of Filoti. We will visit its central church, walk by the Venetian Tower of Barozzi and stroll through the picturesque neighborhood of Fasolas, where we will visit a century-old shop of a grocer.

After a short break at the local “kafeneion” will taste traditional Greek coffee and then local seasonal mezedes (our Greek tapas).

Then, a visit at Apeiranthos will give you the chance to see the famous marble village and taste some bread from a traditional bakery with a wood-fired oven. The architectural design of the houses in Apeiranthos has remained almost untouched since the time of the Venetian Empire: narrow marble paved mule tracks, often covered by archways; Venetian defense towers which are exemplary of the fortifications architecture of the time; two-story stone houses with peculiar architectural details and tiny squares.  Overnight in hotel. (B)

What Our Travelers Say

Matilda is the best! Sep 2025 • Friends Myself and two lady friends just returned from a 10 day trip to Croatia. We're late 60's / early 70's and are very active. But we didn't want to drive or spend a ton of time researching sites to visit or hotels. We were fortunate to find Matilda Kežić of Majestic Croatia DMC. She is amazing. She planned everything for us...transportation, hotels, small group tours, even restaurants. We had car service from / to every point on our trip, which was important to us. We worked with Matilda via email and zoom on all the details. She kept in touch with us every day via Whats Up Chat. When we were running late for a tour in Dubrovnik (we took a really wrong turn while walking to the meeting site), I messaged Matilda who got in touch work our tour guide. Seamless support! We saw all the standard sites in Zagreb, Zadar, Plitvice National Park, Split, Togir, and Dubrovnik. And I wanted to stop in Ogulin, where my grandparents lived before emigrating to the US. No problem. She also recommended a not-typical visit to the Neretva Valley including a visit to the Argo Ento park. There we had a boat ride on a pristine lake, lunch, and visited their new, small but very authentic cultural heritage museum. Matilda even personally drove us to a few points and joined us on a few tours. It was so special to have a knowledgeable, delightful Croatian accompany us. If you are looking for a fabulous travel agent to customize your tour and maximize your enjoyment, I highly recommend her.

Thank You Matilda!✨ MUST BOOK FOR HONEYMOON May 2025 • Couples Wow. Matilda was SUCH a pleasure to work with during our trip to Croatia. Not only is she the sweetest person ever but she is so knowledgeable of the area. Her customer service was also so warm and welcoming. She makes you feel like family. - she's so proud of the country, genuinely loves what she does, and was patient and kind. She was on time for every excursion and communicated detail for detail. She knows the best winery's, local places to grab food, best views of Krka Waterfalls and everything in between. Meeting her was a highlight of our honeymoon. With Matilda, you're in good Hands!

Croatia is magnificent especially when you have Matilda planning your trip. Our 12-day adventure took us from the charming wineries in Plešivica to the white-water rafting and beautiful beaches in Split to the rich history of Dubrovnik. It was a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience. Matilda met with us via Zoom to understand our preferences for accommodations and sightseeing. She then crafted an itinerary with recommendations which we refined together. She orchestrated every detail beautifully, from boutique hotels with decadent breakfasts to uniquely guided city and food tours, ensuring the perfect mix of culture, relaxation, and adventure. She handled all the details from transfers, hotels, private tours, transportation throughout Croatia and Slovenia, including restaurant suggestions. All we had to do was book our airline reservations and show up. Matilda and our personal driver, Mate, were available throughout our trip to answer any questions. Mate wasn’t just our driver—he was an es. We fell in love with Croatia, Matilda and Mate made it even more special.

Unique and incredibly experienced! Apr 2025 Matilda made our trip extra special. From the fresh strawberries and Rakija to start our boat tour on the lakes, to the amazing lunch we had to top of our day, it was all incredible! We saw wild life and beautiful scenery on the lakes and learned about the area. It was such a nice addition while in the way to Dubrovnik. We could not recommend this tour and Matilda enough. She also recommended a great winery to stop at on the rest of journey to Dubrovnik. It was absolutely fantastic. Thank you!!
