Itinerary

Ljubljana

We start with the best of Slovenia, Croatia & Montenegro tour at Ljubljana Airport. Welcome with our driver & guide, and transfer to your accommodation in Ljubljana. Free afternoon & overnight at your hotel. (D)

After breakfast in the morning, we will take a tour of Ljubljana“the capital of Slovenia”. Ljubljana is a medium-sized European city. It’s a place where eastern and western cultures meet. Together with our driver guide, we walk through the old town district to explore many baroque buildings. The colorful farmer’s market,  the cathedral of St. Nicholas, the old medieval fortress which stands up there like an old guardian of the city. Finally, we are also taking you to a local restaurant, where you have a chance to try some of Ljubljana’s famous dishes together with a local draft beer!

Bled

After the city tour, we take you to Lake Bled. The stunning blue lake in the heart of the town and the picture-postcard church on the island. A medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps. This Alpine lake has been a world-renowned paradise for centuries. After the tour, you ‘ll have a chance to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant. Overnight stay in Ljubljana (B).

Today we continue our trip toward Croatia and stop at the Postojna Caves. One of the largest underground cave systems in Europe hides wondrous geological creations and is home to the olm. Next destination, Renaissance Predjama Castle situated on a high cliff, tells the 700 years old story of its predecessors and Postojna. After the tour, you ‘ll have a chance to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant. Arrive at the enchanting coastal town of Rovinj in the late afternoon. Check-in and overnight stay (B).

Plitvice Lakes National Park – UNESCO World Heritage Centre.

We are continuing our best of Slovenia, Croatia & Montenegro tour and we proceed towards the Plitvice Lakes National Park and Zadar. On the way to the lakes, We’ll stop at Rastoke – an idyllic watermill village we often like to call “the Small Lakes of  Plitvice”. After the time in Rastoke to the next destination, Plitvice. In the National Park will walk along the majestic string of sixteen cascaded lakes connected with beautiful waterfalls. The tour of the National Park will take approximately 3 hours and will include a boat ride over the big lake and a train ride through the parking area at the end.  After the tour, you ‘ll have a chance to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant. Next, we continue the trip to Zadar. Overnight stay in Zadar.(B)

After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing 2-hour tour with your tour guide of Zadar. Walking along Zadar`s streets the guide will show you the entire spectrum of monuments and hidden corners, taking you into the past more than 3000 years. By retelling the stories and legends you will feel the pulse of the town from the past and today`s everyday living. we drive down from the mountain region Trogir & Split– a treasury of cultural and historical monuments dating as far back as the 4th Century BC.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Old Town Trogir is surrounded by a fortress wall with two gates and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. On the sea-side of the island, you may see the Sea Gate, which was built in the 16th Century, and the nearby old fish market, located in an open loggia, surrounded by a colonnade. After the tour, you ‘ll have a chance to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant. Moving forward to Split. Check in & overnight stay at your hotel in Split. (B)

Following breakfast, meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Transfer to main gate of Split central area (old part of the town). Start 2 h walking tour of Old town of Split with our local English-speaking guide. Start at Pjaca Square for pretty views of white marble tiles, the Iron Gate (the western entrance to Diocletian’s Palace), a Romanesque clock tower with the remains of a medieval sundial, and the 15th-century Town Hall. After the tour, you ‘ll have a chance to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurant. Rest of the day is leisure. Overnight stay.(B)

Following breakfast, meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Transfer to Dubrovnik, the most popular destination in Croatia. It is a 3h ride. We will stop at Neretva Valley for a Photo safari on authentic boat and lunch. Spend a day in nature, set sail on a boat and experience a unique photo safari with the chirping of birds and the singing of frogs. Eat a homemade, traditional meal prepared from local and fresh ingredients and bring home a souvenir – a domestic product and then proceed straight to Dubrovnik. Arrival at hotel in late afternoon, check in &        overnight in Dubrovnik. Rest of the day is at leisure. (B, L)

Finally, the Best of Slovenia, Croatia & Montenegro tour is reserved for exploring the old town of Dubrovnik. Following breakfast meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Transfer to Dubrovnik old town. You will meet your local English-speaking guide at Dubrovnik main gate to the old town to Dubrovnik – a UNESCO site. This tour lasts 2 hours. During its tumultuous history, many nations and maritime forces met and battled in this area: the Byzantines, Saracens, Croats, Normans, Venetians, small princedoms and kingdoms and the Austro-Hungarian state, as well as the Roman-Germanic Empire, Osman, Habsburg and Napoleonic empires. Dubrovnik is well known as the pearl of the Adriatic a walk, famous for its 2km long impressive city walls with fortresses, which have been filming locations to an HBO worldwide highly popular serial „Game of Thrones “.  Visit Dubrovnik city walls, no guide, on your own. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

One of the most fascinating natural wonders of the Herzegovinia region is definitely the crystal clear waterfalls of Kravica. The waterfalls created by the Trebižat river are a natural wonder that is now under state protection. This waterfalls are among the largest in Herzegovina and definitely the most impressive. The tour from Dubrovnik to Mostar (with a twist!) will let you experience the beautiful shades of green and untouched nature, all enriched by some exciting Oriental architecture.
