We start with the best of Croatia and Slovenia tour at Zagreb Airport. Welcome with our driver guide for, and transfer to your accommodation in Zagreb. Depending on your arrival time we will have a short orientational tour of Zagreb “the Capital of Croatia”. In other words, the city tour will give you an insight into two different cities: the modern, urban, and the historic and cultural Zagreb.  Start at Zagreb’s main square – Ban Jelačić Square. You will take a ride by Zagreb’s funicular, which is the shortest cable car in the world. From the Upper Town, we will enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the area. We continue our tour passing by Zagreb’s Cathedral and walking through Croatia’s biggest green market ”Dolac”. With many museums, galleries, cafes, open markets, clubs, and pubs, Zagreb is today a city pulsing with life! After breakfast in the morning, we continue our best of Croatia and Slovenia tour. Drive towards Ljubljana – “the capital of Slovenia”. Ljubljana is a medium-sized European city. It’s a place where eastern and western cultures meet. Together with our driver guide, we walk through the old town district to explore many baroque buildings. The colorful farmer’s market,  the cathedral of St. Nicholas, the old medieval fortress which stands up there like an old guardian of the city. Finally, we are also taking you to a local restaurant, where you will have a chance to try some of Ljubljana’s famous dishes together with a local draft beer!

After the city tour and lunch, we continue towards Lake Bled. The stunning blue lake in the heart of the town and the picture-postcard church on the island. A medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps. This Alpine lake has been a world-renowned paradise for centuries. Lookout at the lake from a castle on a cliff and visit the island on a traditional “pletna” boat. Free time to explore. Check-in and overnight stay Bled. (B)

This day we are leaving towards Croatia. On our way, we will stop at Postojna cave and Pređama castle. In the beginning, enjoy train ride into the heart of the caves. A few more kilometers from Postojna is Pređama castle. The Karst world offers an unforgettable experience in the fairytale world of knights. Today the caves under Pređama Castle are the home of a colony of bats. Pređama Castle has been used as a filming venue for many documentaries and feature films. The castle has also mesmerized George R. R. Martin, author of the best-seller “The Game of Thrones”. Finally, you are going to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurants. Following lunch, we are continuing the trip towards Rovinj. Overnight stay in Rovinj. (B)

Morning to enjoy in Rovinj, well known as the “romance capital of Adriatic”. It is the right destination for all the guests seeking a sentimental atmosphere. Next, we continue the trip to Pula. For visit,  it’s a great Roman amphitheater and an interesting old town with 2000 years old history. Next, we’ll take you to discover the continental part of Istria. The green oasis with many hills and vineyards. Its landscape is often compared to the one of Tuscany or Provence. On our Istrian tour, we will also try some of the world-known specialties of Istrian cuisine. In Motovun, we have the opportunity to experience a traditional Istrian truffle lunch. Without any doubt, truffles are gastronomical jewels. Return in Rovinj and free time in the evening. (B)

We are continuing our best of Croatia and Slovenia tour and we proceed towards the Plitvice Lakes National Park.  In the National Park will walk along the majestic string of sixteen cascaded lakes connected with beautiful waterfalls. The tour of the National Park will take approximately 3 hours. and will include a boat ride over the big lake and a train ride through the parking area at the end.  After the tour, you are going to enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurants.

We continue our driver guide for Croatia and Slovenia tour to enjoy a sightseeing 2-hour tour with your tour guide of Zadar. Walking along Zadar`s streets the guide will show you the entire spectrum of monuments and hidden corners, taking you into the past more than 3000 years. After breakfast at the hotel, we drive down from the mountain region Trogir & Split– a treasury of cultural and historical monuments dating as far back as the 4th Century BC. Set on a small island just off the mainland, Trogir was first settled by the ancient Greeks, before falling under the Romans and later the Byzantines. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Old Town Trogir is surrounded by a fortress wall with two gates and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. On the sea-side of the island, you may see the Sea Gate, which was built in the 16th Century, and the nearby old fish market, located in an open loggia, surrounded by a colonnade. After guided sightings tour, we recommend you to have lunch in local restaurant. Enjoy some time at your leisure to browse the small shops and cafes in Trogir, before heading to Split. Overnight at your hotel in Split. (B)

Following breakfast, head to city centar. Transfer to tgate of Split central area (old part of the town). Start 2 h walking tour of Old town of Split with our local English-speaking guide. Start at Pjaca Square for pretty views of white marble tiles, the Iron Gate (the western entrance to Diocletian’s Palace), a Romanesque clock tower with the remains of a medieval sundial, and the 15th-century Town Hall. Enjoy some time at your leisure to browse the small shops and cafes in Split. Try local cuisse in best restaurants. Overnight at your hotel in Split.(B)

Today, we are starting with Photo safari through the Neretva Valley, one-and-a-half-hour ride with the car from Split. The Photo safari is a unique tourist experience in which guests are driven by indigenous Neretva vessels (small wooden boats from which are some even 100 years old) for a leisurely cruise through the surrounding wetlands. After photo safari you will visit Narona Archeological Museum is the first in-the-site museum in Croatia and one of the only ones in the world. The museum is built directly on the ancient temple dedicated to Augustus, the first Roman emperor in the modern city of Vid. After that enjoy in traditionally lunch in local restaurant! Late afternoon arrival Dubrovnik and the remainder of your evening is at leisure. Finally, the Best of Croatia and Slovenia tour is reserved for exploring the old town of Dubrovnik. Following breakfast, your driver will transfer you to old town. Coffee drinking is a morning ritual in Dalmatia. In Dubrovnik, the place to do it is the Stradun (aka Placa). This 300m-long white limestone-paved promenade, the main thoroughfare through the old town, effectively links Pile Gate and Ploče Gate. The 17th-century Baroque stone buildings that flank the Stradun host small shops and open-air cafes at street level. This is where locals meet for coffee, read the morning newspapers, and watch the world pass by. One of the best spots is Gradska Kavana on a raised terrace at the end of the Stradun. Interestingly, the Stradun used to be a shallow sea channel – it was filled in during the 12th century, creating the city as you see it today. Start your day exploring the walls of Dubrovnik. It is a wonderful experience to walk down the Walls of Dubrovnik and must-do thing when visiting Dubrovnik. At the entrance to the city’s Old Town, you will see the main street Stradun (or Placa), the most interesting part of Dubrovnik. It is magnificent with all these styles of architecture like Renaissance (Sponza Palace), Gothic (Rector’s Palace which is a history museum now) and Baroque (St. Blaise Church). Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
