Diocletian’s Palace and Klis Fortress are used as Meereen, the capital of Daenerys Targaryen.Explore with the insider the sites in Diocletian’s Palace which were used for the GOT filming.

Further, the Unsullied Army led by Grey Worm and slaves beat the Masters in the Cellars .
Part of the Cellars used as battle fields, where Sir Bariston was killed.Narrow streets in the Palace were used for battles between Unsullieds and Masters, and Unsullieds and Sons of Harpy. Duration: 1,30 hours

After some 20 minutes of driving you will reach Klis. This medieval fortress is situated above a village bearing the same name – Klis. Due to its location, the fortress served as a major source of defense in Dalmatia, especially against Ottoman. Klis fortress has played a crucial role in defending the territory of Split for centuries. It is placed on a strategical point on a hill above Split, with a view over the city, the islands as well as the inland.

Walking its sections listen about its brutal history and a harsh life of the soldiers who built it and protected the area of Split. The fortress starred as the city of Meereen, its external parts and terraces of the Throne room. Duration: 1,30 hours
