Today, as your plane descends over Croatia, you will catch your first glimpse of the quintessentially Croatian orange and red roofs. Zagreb, the country’s capital, has found itself a place in the hearts of travelers in recent years, through its historically saturated architecture and ever-welcoming cafes.

Meet our tour guide at the arrival hall. Transfer to hotel in Zagreb. After you settle in hotel, enjoy a 2-hour city tour of Zagreb with a local guide that includes main highlights on Kaptol and the Upper Town such as: Ban Jelacic Square, Dolac Market, Cathedral, Tkalciceva Street, Stone Gate, St. Mark’s Church, Parliament, Government, Uspinjaca Tower. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Following breakfast, meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Check out and transfer to national park Plitvice Lake, located approximately 2,5h drive from Zagreb. Visit of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a sightseeing 3 hour tour with your tour guide of Plitvice. Starting point is at the north entrance of the park (Entrance 1). Sightseeing is circular, and includes a walk through the limestone canyon of the “Lower Lakes”, an electric-boat ride across the largest of the Plitvice lakes – Lake “Kozjak” (please take some worm clothes cause the boat has only roof and it can get bit cold, it takes cca 15 min), a panoramic train ride, and a walk along the top of the canyon’s east side all the way back to starting point at “Entrance 1”.

You will also see the impressive “Great Waterfall”  the highiest waterfall in Croatia and the “Sastavci” waterfalls, the beautiful dark blue lakes of “Novakovića Brod”, “Kaluđerovac”, “Gavanovac” and “Milanovac”, as well as the vastness of Lake Kozjak. Opportunity for lunch will be offered after the visit: either individual or prearranged for the whole group.

Afterwards 2,5h bus transfer from Plitvice to Zadar. Arrival at hotel, check in and overnight in Zadar. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Following breakfast, meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Check out and transfer to main gate of Zadar central area (old part of the town). Start 2h walking tour with our local English-speaking guide. Zadar as a town was founded about 2000 years ago, in the time when the Roman empire was on the top. Because of that we are going to see the old Roman Forum, with its remainings, and also the original entrance to the town. During that time the city of Zadar changed a lot of governments, and with that its structure was changed as well. We are going to see the old medieval fortifications, including  the Captain’s tower, and the famous venetian fortifications system with the Land Gate and Jelena Madijevka park. People’s square is the center of the old city and we are going to visit it, seeing the City lodge and the City guard.

In the city of Zadar christianity came very early. Because of that there are a lot of things to see. The most important one of Zadar’s symbols is the church of Saint Donatus. Also, we are going to see the cathedral of Saint Anastasia, and Saint Simon church where the body of Saint Simon is preserved.Throughout this time, the main street in Zadar – Kalelarga – will accompany us. In the Zadar City Tour it is impossible not to see Sea Organ and Greetings to the Sun. With us You are going to discover the story of these two modern symbols of the city of Zadar.

Afterwards 1,30h bus transfer from Zadar to Split. We will stop in Trogir for 1,30 hour guided tour. The masters’ signs invite you to discover and explore magnificent Trogir with us! Trogir is the City of Masters, the city which slowly but convincingly pulls us into an enchanted labyrinth of beauty, into narrow stone streets made of yellow smooth Stone. Lunch for all tour members can be prearranged in one of the local restaurants, or each tour member will have the lunch on his own. Arrival at hotel, check in and overnight in Split. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Following breakfast, meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Check out and transfer to main gate of Split central area (old part of the town). Start 2 h walking tour of Old town of Split with our local English-speaking guide. Start at Pjaca Square for pretty views of white marble tiles, the Iron Gate (the western entrance to Diocletian’s Palace), a Romanesque clock tower with the remains of a medieval sundial, and the 15th-century Town Hall.

 

Transfer to Dubrovnik, the most popular destination in Croatia. It is a 3h ride. We will stop at Neretva Valley for a Photo safari on authentic boat and lunch and then proceed straight to Dubrovnik. Arrival at hotel in late afternoon, check in & overnight in Dubrovnik. Rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

Following breakfast meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Transfer to Dubrovnik old town. You will meet your local English-speaking guide at Dubrovnik main gate to the old town to Dubrovnik – a UNESCO site. This tour lasts 2 hours.

You’ll visit several of the city’s most monumental landmarks including Pile Gate, Onofrio’s Fountain, Orlando’s column and Rector’s Palace. Go from the city’s darkest corners of taverns and brothels to its greatest achievements, from Europe’s first orphanage and pharmacy to the world’s first quarantine zone. Uncover how Dubrovnik fought off invaders and wars for over 700 years and became a diverse and liberal trading nation. Delve into the dangerous world of the Old Town’s ancient spy network hearing tales that will change your view of the city forever…

Dubrovnik is well known as the pearl of the Adriatic a walk, famous for its 2km long impressive city walls with fortresses, which have been filming locations to an HBO worldwide highly popular serial„Game of Thrones “. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel . (B)

Following breakfast meet our tour guide at hotel lobby. Transfer to Dubrovnik old town. You can stroll down the Stradun and walk the walls of Dubrovnik but it’s much more meaningful if you know what you’re looking at. Which is why this informative and fun walking tour is a must for any visitor to the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic.’ Learn what makes this UNESCO World Heritage site so amazing and special. Learn about the architecture — Gothic, Renaissance and baroque — and the history behind the palaces, fountains, monasteries and churches. The medieval town of Trogir, located less than 30 minutes from Split. It boasts a long, rich history with its roots going back to the 3rd century BC when Doric Greeks founded a trading port here and is widely regarded as the most well-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in Europe. 

Neretva Valley

Neretva Valley spreads over a large area some 90 minutes’ drive north of Dubrovnik or Split. The Neretva Valley is a real paradise for many visitors.

Zadar
