Tour starts at 8am from Split. After ap. 2:30h driving along dalmatian cost and beauty of River Neretva you are coming Mostar. Through the centuries Mostar became the meeting point of various cultures and religions. Besides the Old Bridge, the symbol of the town, you have the chance to visit the Mosque of Mostar, a Turkish house, and many other monuments in the town. The tour will then continue to Pocitelj.  In Pocitelj you will have an opportunity for sightseeing and free time. Pocitelj is a beautiful cultural and historical site featuring structures from the 15th century. On the way back stop on Kravice waterfalls and local winary.  In the afternoon, following sightseeing and free time, you will return to your base.

  • Passport required!
  • Bring your camera to take unforgettable photos
  • Have a bottle of water with you as a refreshment
  • Wear comfortable shoes and put on sun protection

Our first stop for a day is the Mostar. There your driver/ guide will take you on an hour-long tour of the city. You will have an opportunity to hear about the rich history of the city, see the Old Bridge (which together with the old town is on the list of UNESCO protected cultural heritage since 2005) from the 16th century. The architecture here presents a symbol of tolerance: a shared life between Muslims, Christians and Jews.

After the tour you will have 2 and a half hours of free time. You can get lost in the famous bazaar and see the heritage of the oriental culture while buying something to remember this day by. You will see The Turkish house (Kajtaz) and Koskin-Mehmed Pasha’s Mosque. You can have lunch in one of the local restaurants to try traditional Bosnian cuisine.

Next, after the time in Mostar, Pocitelj is second on our list. Discover this Ottoman town from the 14th century.  The construction style of building a city on a steep cliff really captivates you. You can still feel a strong oriental culture since the city was under siege for over 450 years. The rare fusion of Oriental East and the Medieval West in Europe attracts the views of all passers-by. You will have some free time to explore.

We are continuing the trip toward Split. In addition to the private tour of Mostar, your driver-guide will drive  you to the small wine-growing village for Wine tasting where you can enjoy tasting wines  along with Herzegovinian delicacies: prosciutto, cheese & pinches. After wine tasting heading to Kravica Waterfall!

The greatest natural landmarks in the area, the Kravica Waterfall.  The falls are the most fascinating features of the Herzegovina region and definitely the most impressive. The waterfalls change following the water levels of the Trebižat river. From emerald green in summer to dark blue in winter. The area in the park has a little cafe, a rope swing, and a place to camp. Don’t miss the opportunity to swim under the waterfalls and recharge before heading back to Split. Lastly,  we are continuing the trip towards Split and are expected to arrive in Split at 6.00 pm.
